The main admissions desk is located at the ER entrance of the hospital, off Medical Circle Drive.
Admissions for outpatient and same-day surgery is at the 709 Hollybrook entrance.
Complimentary valet parking is available at the ER entrance. The main campus parking is located off of Medical Circle Drive from Fourth Street and in front of the ER/main hospital entrance.
Arrive on time:
The admissions department is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for insurance questions; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for urgent care; and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, for outpatient and same-day surgery.
Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork.
Completing paperwork before you arrive saves time and reduces stress at check-in. We encourage you to pre-register with admissions if you have advance notice of your hospitalization.
Longview Regional Medical Center is committed to providing quality interpreter service and related communications equipment and service for hearing impaired and limited-English speaking patients. Please notify the registrar upon arrival if you are in need of our interpreter service.
Providing medical care when a language barrier exists is a challenging endeavor. The interpreter services strive to provide screened and talented medical interpreters to ensure that doctors are able to perform their job and that patients receive the excellent care that is expected.
Remember to bring:
- All current health insurance information, including your insurance card
- A photo ID
- Physician orders and prescriptions for any tests you will receive
- Referrals from your primary care physician (if your insurer requires them)
- A payment method for deductibles and co-payments (Financing is also available)
- Your advance directive, if you have one
Other things to bring: For your comfort and convenience, you may want to bring the following items for your stay: pajamas or nightgown, house shoes, containers for eyewear and dentures, hair brush or comb, personal toiletries and change for vending machines.
What not to bring: Hospital policy prohibits patients from bringing in the following items: small appliances, such as hair dryers, electric razors, televisions or radios; liquor; and over-the-counter medications. Additionally, jewelry, large amounts of money and/or other valuables are discouraged.
Valuables: Although we will assist in the management of your personal items during your stay, the hospital assumes no responsibility for the loss of valuables or personal items. If it is not possible to leave your valuables and personal items at your home, you may place them in our safe. We will issue a receipt for your valuables to present upon your dismissal. If you have lost an item during your stay, contact the housekeeping department, the hospital's lost and found, at (903) 232-3810.
