Longview, TX (May 20, 2019) — In appreciation of National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Appreciation Week, Longview Regional Medical Center (LRMC) will be hosting its annual appreciation lunch to say thank you for all of the hard work, dedication and commitment our local EMS provide for our community.
Mi Casita will serve tacos to EMS providers from its food truck from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the Longview Fire Department Training Facility located at 411 American Legion Blvd.
“Longview Regional Medical Center has been hosting this event for more than 15 years. This is all done to show appreciation to our EMS providers to recognize their service and daily commitment to our community,” LRMC CEO Casey Robertson said.
Local EMS serves countless, tireless hours to help the citizens of this community.
“They put in long hours and often sleepless nights taking care of the needs of the people in our community,” said Michelle Wylie, Trauma Coordinator at Longview Regional Medical Center.
All of the EMS providers, which include the Longview Fire Department, Champion EMS, East Texas Medical Center (ETMC), Camp County and volunteer departments, are welcome to attend.
